DONAR Heavy Artillery by M-Vitzh DONAR Heavy Artillery by M-Vitzh
This is someting I wanted to look like it packs a DEVESTATING punch, delivered in a fragile frame. I'd love to see this unfolding, hear the capacitators charging and feel the ground shaking when it fires. :B

Interesting concept and nice artistic realization.

If you were in a universe where these weapons exist, I recommend not to watch and listen to them in person during a real battle but to use a video transmission while being at a safe distance. A canon like this would be detected effectively instantly when it fires and always draw counter battery fire.

But even if it only gets off a few shots before it is obliterated it may be able to do its duty in defending a world from invasion.

I love the look but I hate being an engineer, it makes it hard to enjoy the lore in the picture. :(

Excellent concept for anti-orbital and extreme-range artillery. How tall is it? And what is its power source? Separate mobile generator?

Thank you very much! :)
Different versions in various sizes are available, I thought about roughly 15 meters.
Yes, seperate generator, but the unit itself stores enough energy to defend itself for a short period of time or to start firing even before the support systems are set up.

What's a capacitator?   Did you mean capacitor?

Decent! Not actually are all the technical terms pretty much spot on the idea is pretty decent as well. The Compensator's idea of recharging each shot is damn nice. 10/10
